Slow attitude

Series of 52 photographs

My initial training was in the culinary arts (Paris hotel school), followed by experience in setting up a humanitarian association and then a company, and in 2012 I chose photography as my passion.
In the 80s, I developed a passion for black and white argentic photography. In 1992, I used photography to communicate on a humanitarian project in Mali, then in 2008 on a sponsorship project for the legendary Shweitzer hospital in Gabon.
Essentially, I'm a photographer-traveler, always on the lookout for photographic reports on cultures and wonders, with sounds from the far reaches of the world: Ladakh, Zanzibar, Santo Domingo and Ceylon.
In 2014, I discovered Japan, which has been a great source of inspiration in all my work ever since. An art of seeking perfection in simplicity, when all the superfluous fades away.
And then there's the automobile, which also takes us on a journey through time and space.
My photography is mostly figurative and always humanistic, a form of Slowphotography.
I wish you a lot of pleasure and emotion with my photographs. Thank you for your interest.
