Description of the photograph

(May 16, 2010) - Rear view of the Andean Range, near the Argentine and Chilean border, the Space Shuttle Atlantis is presented in the process of making its relative approach to the International Space Station, from which this photo was taken . The coordinates of the central point of the area shown are 34.6 degrees south latitude and 69.9 degrees west longitude. Rio Atuel is in the river valley at the bottom right of the photo and Atuel Caldera is near the center of the image near the pay gate port of the port.
