Mijn naam is Romain Thiery, ik ben een autodidactisch beroepsfotograaf, geboren in 1988 in de Dordogne en nu woon ik in de buurt van Montpellier. Sinds enkele jaren maak ik mijzelf bekend door mijn serie "Requiem voor piano's" die mijn bekendheid over de hele wereld heeft doen stijgen. Ik wil hier een nieuwe serie landschappen, stedenbouwkundige en portretten presenteren.
In de afgelopen jaren heb ik internationale prijzen gewonnen in verschillende fotowedstrijden en festivals, waaronder Fotograaf van het jaar op het Fotofestival van Moskou, finalist op het Indiase Fotografiefestival, finalist op het Israëlische Fotofestival en het San Fransisco Bay Photo Festival. Mijn solotentoonstellingen zijn in vele landen gepresenteerd, zoals de Verenigde Staten, India, Duitsland, Israël, Bangladesh, Noorwegen, Slovenië, Rusland, Frankrijk, Canada en Engeland.
