Jean Louis PARBOT

I have evolved for nearly thirty years in the world of press magazine news. Trained in digital technologies, photographer since always, I like to look at the diversity of the world and those who inhabit it, diversity in diversity. A photographer is selfish, voyeuristic and lonely but he is also a ferryman. The art of photography is first and foremost the art of light in all its forms. If the photographer rejoices in his solitary pleasure, he can only really exist and become a photographer through the eyes of others. I can only be recognized as a photographer by those who view my photographs. The other makes me exist. All photography is a story and there are as many photographic stories as there are literary forms, from novel to children's story, from short story to Alexandrian poem, from journalistic article to play ... Photography adapts narrative modes ad infinitum.
