Guy Rieutort

Photographer photographer, photography is a means of expression as are painting and writing. I explore, observe the world, with slow, curiosity, sensitivity and often fascination. I refuse the horror, the picturesque, to be interested in aesthetics and people, the "faces indicative of the soul", always with modesty, lucidity and respect. I try to capture the reality in my way, sometimes with the support of the report, sometimes by bringing out the color or black and white as protagonists. I like the light, the color, the tension between all these things: the strangeness too, the mystery, the reverie, the emotion obviously in order to capture the time, the "decisive moment" of Cartier-Bresson. An intimate moment, free, abstract, silent. My projects are often nourished by the stimulation of discovery, particularly Spain, which continues to seduce me. "When you really manage to capture the vibration of the living, then we can talk about a good photograph. »(René Burri)
