Elisabeth Rossolin

Born in Nice in 1965, I worked as a photographer's assistant in 1985 (CAP in photography as an independent candidate), then as a freelance photographer in the Nice region for over 30 years. I have contributed to numerous magazines, linked to tourism, architecture and decoration, now the hotel industry, regional companies and national magazines. My taste for human contact and hands-on experience led me to illustration and reportage photography, even though my first training was in industrial photography. Sensitive to changes in the environment for its ephemeral and sometimes surrealist side, I try to capture these privileged and sometimes singular moments that are offered to my eyes and for which I am always on the alert. My work relies on light to underline the values of nature, playing on both deep contrasts and perspective effects.
