Alain Gaymard's work offers us a unique visual and aesthetic universe. His photographs are recognizable by their vivid colors and artistic blurs. The artist presents us with a dreamlike world, making the viewer travel not only through a wide chromatic palette but also in fantastic, intriguing, picturesque and poetic spheres. Ranging from landscapes inspired by the film adaptation of Tolkien's work to atmospheres similar to those of Tim Burton, Alain Gaymard, his works also have a pictorial structure that reveals inspirations from surrealist painters such as Salvador Dali, or more photographic like the prints by Sebastiao Salgado. The artist creates a comparable universe, encouraging reverie and escape. The artist takes a new look at productions that surprise us by the choice of themes, we find masked and mysterious characters; passing from fanciful creatures, to lost travelers, while retaining the strength of its captures. The artist invents an incongruous and chimerical society. This understanding of art aims to give an image that is both aesthetic while focusing on technical work, by adopting various points of view that accentuate the creative dream. Its objective is to capture the moment and the emotion of faces, expressions, by revealing the most diverse feelings. Alain Gaymard is therefore an innovative photographer, not hesitating to combine different genres and themes in order to create a world that is both folkloric and unreal. The artist develops a style of his own, making him want to escape into his dreamlike creations.
