Description of the photograph

Washington, DC, 1924. Charlie Becker, trainer, drives the smallest elephant of his troop to the Merchant's Bank, and makes a deposit for the Keith's Theater. The elephant delivers the money bag directly to the recipient. At that time the wickets were without cages and banks self-service.
