Description of the photograph

The polar bear crosses the pack ice between two pieces of ice, which melts a little more each summer. At the time of great questions on the ice floe, the bear sees its territory increasingly thin. The image bears witness to this, as if the bear was trying to hold back the ice floe with its paw. This photo is the most unique and iconic of the series. She has been widely recognized and won the Grand Prix drone Photography 2017, she was also in the final of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 as well as the Nature Photographer 2017 of National Geographic.
