Lorient (Morbihan), France, September 30, 2019 --- French skipper Clarisse Crémer, 29, embarks aboard the trimaran "Banque Populaire X". On Sunday October 27, she will take the start of the 14th edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre in doubles with Armel Le Cléac'h. Sixty boats will leave Le Havre and set sail for Salvador de Bahia in Brazil. Neophyte and determined, Clarisse Crémer will be racing her first round the world in 2020. Four years ago, this young 30-year-old had never sailed solo. As a child, she sailed "like a Parisian during the holidays". But in 2010, she met Tanguy Le Turquais, professional skipper, raised on a boat. Love at first sight and change of course. Their future is emerging with glances at the ocean. It first crosses the Atlantic. In November 2021, she will start in the Vendée Globe. To prepare it, Armel Le Cléac'h, winner of the last edition, played the Jedi masters.
