The Mat

We suggest you add a mat to your photograph.

It is a white cardboard with bevelled edges placed between the frame and the photograph. The mat has a double function:

  • Better protection: the mount creates a space between the photograph and the glass, which limits contact and thus protects your piece of art.
  • Improved aesthetics: the mat gives depth, sharpness and brightness, while improving the transition effect with the frame.

Description of the photograph

The two islets of the Emperors seen from Cap Nègre on Ile Riou, Riou archipelago, Calanques National Park. This is a very rare point of view because access to this area is strictly reserved for staff of the Calanques National Park for their site preservation missions. I was lucky enough to be able to accompany a team of National Park officers there during a scientific survey carried out on site. This mineral landscape is typical of the south face of Ile Riou. At sea we can see the rock of the Imperial from the sea and that of the Imperial from the middle.
