Description of the photograph

This photograph in India is one of my favorites, taken aboard a boat on the Ganges river, 2 destinies cross in the distance on the same step of the Gaths going towards the ancient city of Benares, the kneeling young man, with her head hidden, seems distressed and to have given up turning her back to the ascent, in contrast, with a slender step and haughty demeanor, the Indian woman draped in her orange sari challenges with incomparable ease and determination to the impassable wall which is erected in front of it!
