June 15, 1987 - Prince in concert on stage during his concert on the site of Bercy in Paris. The Prince pop icon - whose pioneering funk brand has made him one of the most influential figures in music - died on April 21, 2016 in his Minnesota precinct. He was 57 years old. The announcement came just a week after the Grammy and Oscar were taken to the hospital with a bad flu, although he shed light on his health problems after the fright.
