Marc Canter grew up with Slash and began documenting it in 1982. Marc is a member of the family of one of the world's most famous delis, Canter's Deli. Canter has been a landmark in Los Angeles since 1931 with plenty of Rock 'Roll history. Marc took pictures of the first concerts and was official photographer for Guns N 'Roses in 1985/1986 where he documented their first fifty concerts. Marc helped support the group with flyers, ads, demos, gear, food and friendship. Marc's photos appear in the album covers for “Appetite for Destruction” and Guns N 'Roses “Live Era 87-93”, Marc has many photos in the books of Slash, Duff and Steven Adler and Marc has released his own book in 2007 "Reckless Road" Guns N 'Roses and the Making of the Appetite for Destruction. Marc's photos have also been shown on MTV, VH1, numerous documentaries and in magazines around the world, including Rolling Stone. “Marc is my best friend; and one of the only consistent good friends in my life. There is no better person to post material having to do with the rapprochement and history of Gun's N 'Roses, where it has been and what is going on behind the scenes.
