Description of the photograph

On 28 September 2017, a girl from the Samburu pastoral community cares for a few goats in a remote area near Wamba, Samburu County, Kenya. FAO and the Kenya Red Cross Society are developing an animal vaccination program in Samburu County, as part of the central emergency response to drought in remote areas. An estimated 2.5 million people are in urgent need of assistance.
