This Ahu (platforms) has 15 Moai. It is the largest erected Ahu on Easter Island. The Moai face the Rano Raraku. This extinct volcano served as a quarry. There are still dozens of statues at different stages of manufacture there. A magical place! This photo was taken at the end of the afternoon, between two showers.
