Description of the photograph

The eighth of Garrot, in Saint-Suliac. In the Xth Century, the Vikings would have settled in front of Mount Garrot in a port city with a fortified wall of more than 600 meters whose estuary has kept traces. (Text excerpted from the Special Issue of The Emerald Coast seen from the sky published by Ouest-France in June 2014).
