Photograph taken from a double page of the book "Ouessant, high ground of Iroise", published by Glénat in June 2020. In the southwest of the island of Ouessant, some rocks still emerge and seem to rush towards the distant lighthouse of the Mare. The clouds scatter in the sky and echo the black stones of Porz Doun. Here at sunset the colors become incredible ... This image, taken at the tip of Porz Doun, in Ouessant, was made in long exposure, about ⅕ of a second, to keep a little movement in the sea. Without doubt the most beautiful place on the island. Just a few moments before sunset, I used a Canon Eos 5D MkIII camera and a focal length of 24mm. The print is made with pigment inks on fine-art paper, greatly increasing the quality of colors and contrasts.
