Description of the photograph

American trumpet player Louis Armstrong who revolutionized jazz by establishing the soloist in his heart. Armstrong has always claimed that he was born on July 4, 1900 in New Orleans, but no one has ever really known his exact date of birth. He was also a very popular singer, testifying his hits "Mack The Knife", "Hello Dolly" and a great comedian especially in the films "All the gold of the sky" (1936), "A little corner in the sky" (1943) and "High Society" (1956) but he remains above all a jazz musician on tour around the world with New Orleans band. Armstrong died on July 6, 1971.
