Description
My name is Peyman Naderi and I am a contemporary Persian fine art and portrait photographer. I am a self-taught photographer who started his first professional projects in 2013. Starting my career as a professional photographer, my first mission was to create original and creative photos through which my own perceptions of the world and art could be. heard. Also, I am eager to represent a unique way of looking at various concepts in the world. My first experience as a portrait photography subject, however, was quite funny. I remember I was only six years old and terrified when I saw various equipment and cameras. Trying to calm me down, the photographer gave me a toy camera to play with while sitting in the chair. This memory, in a way, triggered my curiosity and my interest in this art. I bought my first camera years later, in 2010, and started taking pictures of my friends and family. The more I engage in this art, the more I discover my artistic talents and the passion I have for photography. I remember going to a burnt cotton factory in the suburbs of Tehran, my hometown. Although the fire destroyed almost everything in the factory, a small room with a high ceiling and gilded walls remained intact. When I first entered this building, seeing this beautiful landscape inside a totally destroyed and abandoned building took my breath away and sparked my first ideas of art within me. At the start of my first project, I would go to this place every day to try out different photography techniques and become a master at them. Then I started studio photography to learn various lighting techniques. I have tried to include my own ideas and perceptions here, and to manipulate the lighting according to my perceptions and concepts. Winning the silver medal in the Victor Polynsky competition for one of my photos titled Oblivion, further increased my self-confidence and my perseverance in photography. In the years that followed, I won several awards in many competitions such as Moscow International Foto Awards, Chromatic Awards, ND Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, PX3 and IPA, and had my works published in various magazines. international. “Concept” is one of the most important parts of my photography projects and I try to devote enough time and energy to finding the right concept. To create and discover the right idea, I usually listen to classical music in my free time or at night. Music of such quality can inspire me and help me focus on finding ways to present the world as I see it. Also, the colors I use in my photos create the illusion of a painting, and as a result, most people usually mistake my works for paintings.
