After completing a university degree in Law, at the end of which, he obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Law, Franck FOUQUET began to work as a lawyer in a very large company. Soon, he realizes that he longs for something else. He decides to leave everything to live his passion for travel and photography. His first destination will be Africa. At the end of a long stay spent alone in the Kenyan bush, Franck FOUQUET brings back his first images of Africa. His path cross then Robert THUILLIER, photographer specializing in the use of the slideshow and author of many best-selling books. Immediately, he advised him to present his work to major photographic agencies. Soon, the first sales of his photos arrive. The magazines ask the young photographer to write the texts accompanying his photos.This will become, for him, the rule. A few months later, while Franck FOUQUET goes back into the bush in search of new images, the Nathan editions propose to him to realize his first book. It will be "Haya Safari! A day at the Masai Mara. This first book will be very successful in many countries. Shortly after the publication of this first book, another meeting will definitively mark the destiny of Franck FOUQUET. The editor-in-chief photo of a prestigious press agency offers him to try the news. It will be the beginning of a new career as a great reporter in parallel with that of wildlife photographer. His work will be published by many titles: The Daily Telegraph, Express, Figaro Magazine, Geo, Nouvel Observateur, Point, Marianne, National Geographic, Newsweek, Paris Match, Time Magazine, VSD, Washington Post ...

His work has been recognized with numerous awards including the prestigious MacArthur Foundation Grand Prix, Hasselblad Grand Prix and Fujifilm Awards.
