Jean Louis PARBOT

I have evolved for nearly thirty years in the world of news magazines. Trained in digital technologies, photographer since always, I like to look at the diversity of the world and those who live in it, diversity in diversity.
A photographer is selfish, voyeur and solitary but he is also a passer of light. The art of photography is first and foremost the art of light in all its forms. If the photographer rejoices in his solitary pleasure, he can only truly exist and become a photographer through the eyes of others. I can only be recognized as a photographer by those who look at my photographs. The other makes me exist.
Every photograph is a story and there are as many photographic stories as there are literary forms, from the novel to the children's story, from the short story to the poem in alexandrine, from the journalistic article to the play...
Photography declines infinitely the narrative modes.
