An incredible panorama stands out from the Rosnoën belvedere at dawn. In the distance, the Menez Hom marks the landscape of the maritime Alder. ROSNOËN (Commentary on the exposed image © Julien Amic / Parc naturel régional d'Armorique) The incredible panorama from the Rosnoën belvedere at dawn. From here we overlook the meanders of the Alder and we contemplate in the distance the silhouette of Menez-Hom which dominates the Crozon peninsula. A little further down is the site of the "Saut du loup". Legend has it that a long time ago a wolf was seen in the area, a lone old wolf that was said to be wreaking havoc on the local herds. A beat was organized and the animal was cornered on a small promontory, without any escape, surrounded and condemned to the edge of the high cliff. The hunters had only to join him and shoot him. Yet they never found him ... The wolf had escaped we do not know how. Perhaps he had jumped into the void to escape them and perhaps he survived, and crossed the river… Image taken from the book "Discovery routes of the Armoric Geopark", Glénat editions.
